Terrible Two's

This has been the week of the Terrible Two's. First Colton found a black magic marker on Grandad's desk and proceeded into our room and colored all over his legs and feet and our recliner. AGGGHHH!!!! Then he has been pitching terrible, horrible fits when he doesn't get his way, in fact at anytime. It's driving Matt and I crazy. We have been doing a lot of praying, trying to figure out how to get through to him. He is such a pain sometimes, but other times so stinking adorable. What's a mom gonna do?

So Helpful

Colton loves to be so helpful, last night he kept saying...."Caaaakkkkeee" It's a joke between him and his grandad and daddy. I don't really remember where it started, but he thinks it's hillarious. He wanted cake and it was like 8:00 at night. So, we made cupcakes together, he loved it. Then as I was taking the second batch out of the oven, I noticed there was a chunk missing out of a cupcake, I said, Colton did you eat that, he said, yesss, it's goood! He's so stinkin cute.

"Mommy, Tractors Dumb"

Colton's favorite movie is "Cars". If I let him he would watch it 5-6 times a day. Well, last night Colton and I were playing on the Disney website and making pictures for him to color and a picture of a Tractor from Cars came up, and he said, "Mommy, Tractors dumb" I said, "What?" He said it again, I couldn't believe it. I remembered a part on Cars where Mater says, Tractors, there so dumb, well, Colton now says it. Silly, boy.

Family Pictures

Here are our family pictures for the year and Colton's 2 year pictures-

Big Boy Bed

Well, it finally happened, we put Colton in a toddler bed. It's a Lightning McQueen bed. He absolutely loves it. McQueen is his ultimate favorite along with Mater and "Rookie", also known as Chick. Colton and I put it together Friday morning and then took his crib apart. He loved helping and using his tools to "fix it" as he would say. I can't believe how much he is growing up. He took a nap pretty good in it the first day, he laid there and cried with his door open for about 15 min. I don't think it ever crossed his mind that really and truly he could just get out of bed and come and get me, or even play in his room. I thought it was pretty silly. That night, he did really good and kept saying, "Me big boy, McQueen bed". He really enjoys his bed and being a big boy. He's not a baby anymore, but He will always be my baby.

Mike's Wedding

Matt's twin brother Mike got married to Candace Graham the day after Thanksgiving in the Draper Temple. It was a beautiful sealing and beautiful Temple. It was cold that day and the wind was blowing like crazy. Here are a few pictures of the reception. We are so excited to have Candace a part of the family. Colton didn't get to go with us, he was really sick that whole week, so he missed it. Poor little guy was miserable, and it was a long day. It was nice going to a sealing again and hearing the sealing ceremony, it sures strengthens our marriage to get to hear it again. I'm so glad I'm sealed to my sweetheart for all eternity and to have our children with us forever.

Line Em Up

Colton loves to line his cars up and keep them in order. He gets upset at times if you push one out of line. Personally, I think it's funny. He loves to stack and line things up.

Macey's Day Parade

Just some videos of Colton watching the Macey's Day Parade. He was dancing and singing. He is so cute. This is a tradition between Mom and I. It started with Papa and Grandma, but Matt & Dad don't care for it. So, mom and I continue watching it every year.

Christmas Craft

These are what I made for Christmas this year for Matt's family and for friends. And also a really cute picture of Colton.

Christmas

Wow, it's been a bit since I've written. Here are some pictures of Christmas and all the fun we had. Colton still didn't like Santa, screamed bloody murder, maybe next year. We had a wonderful Christmas with lots and lots of snow. Santa brought me a beautiful painting of the Savior over looking the sea of Galilee. He brought Matt a muzzle loader and Colton an airport set. It was really fun. I need to take a picture of my painting still. We had Christmas dinner with Bean, John, Carolyn and Matt's parents. It was a lot of fun. Colton got a train set from Grammy and Grandad and a coat which he absolutely loves from Grandad and a fishing pole. Aunt Carolyn made him a stocking hat, which he loves also. Matt got a rod and reel from dad and some lures. They are all excited to go fishing.
