Our Home

We are in our new home finally, I won't say moved in, there are boxes everywhere. But, it's our home and that is nice to have. It was a mess trying to get the documents signed. Utah Housing kept saying they didn't know where the docs where and then they would say, Zion's didn't have their papers in, which they did, we called and verified it with Utah Housing's closer. Anyways, the day we finally signed we were supposed to be there at 8:00 am. Then after the signing I was suppose to leave for Arizona. Little Paris ended up coming earlier than planned. The placenta wasn't strong enough to keep her in there for another two weeks. So, they took her. Her lungs weren't developed fully, so she was in NICU for a week. She is doing well now and is home and growing. Anyways, back to the house. We closed at American Title, I called on our way in to get the final down payment amount. Well, they still didn't have the docs. They were trying to reach the lady all morning for them. We could either come in and wait or they could call us. We decided to get some breakfast and go to Walmart, I needed to get a few things for the trip. So, then we went and sat and sat and sat forever. I was on the phone with Zion's, Mike Hall, he was our lender, and he was trying to track down the lady. Matt was on the phone with Scott, from Utah Housing, trying to get info from him. Finally at 12:30 pm we got the doc's and signed them. We weren't suppose to get the keys until it was fully funded which they expected another two days, but Kim at American Secure said that this whole ordeal was ridiculous and gave us the keys. She was so good to work with as was Mike Hall. We went straight to our new home and checked the keys, they worked. Then mom and dad met us there, Mom hoped in the car with Colton and I and we gave our husbands kisses and headed for Arizona. We spent a week in Arizona, nice weather, a little sunburn and lots of fun with family. Colton loved playing with Anika and all the kids. He keeps asking for Anika and the "kids", he wants to play with them. I will post pictures when I get some more time. We are still trying to settle in.
