Crazy Kid

Last night after Matt put Colton to bed, we heard him reading and talking. Then all of the sudden he starts screaming, which is unusual so Matt went up to check on him. When he got to the top of the stairs he heard Colton yelling, "Baby, Baby, Babies". I guess we forgot to give him his Baby's when he went to bed. Funny, cuz he has never cared before. He loves his babies, he has me wrap them in a blanket together and he loves them and feeds them and reads and talks to them. It is so cute. He will be a good big brother one day.
Then this afternoon, I've wanted to try on his Halloween costume from last year, because it was so big last year and he hasn't gained much weight, just height. So, I put it on and ya, it fits, so I don't have to buy a new one this year. He doesn't care for the head piece. It's an elephant costume, but I guess he loved the shoes and the costume. When I went to take it off he screamed bloody murder, so he won, it was easier just to let him wear it. He will take it off for nite, nite. He is talking to Grammy and Grandad Parker on the phone. Crazy Kid!!

Here is one of Colton's favorite things to do besides throwing paper on the ground..

Matt's Birthday and SLUSHY

Matt's BD at Blue Bird Rest. So, on the way home the other day, we stopped and got slushies, it was really hot outside. Well, just as we turned off the highway to go home, I hear "mama" at a normal tone, I turn around and this is what I saw. Crazy kid, it was everywhere, where ever you see red, it's slushy. Do you know how hard it is to get slushy out of the inside of a buckle? I thought I had it all until we used the car seat next and the buckle was stuck, because it was still sticky. It was on his bare legs and he didn't even care, his poor legs were frozen, by the time we got home. I was bad, I admit, but I took some video as I was driving down the back road, sorry it's crooked, but I was driving. He was so proud of himself!

Visit with President Quist

Not too sure about taking a pic. Way to go Grandpa Quist
Colton loved Zach's toes.
So Curious
Colton and Jared, Just Chillin' watching BYU Football
Sis. Quist, Becky, Pres. Quist
Amber, Stephanie, Becky
Stephanie Gering came down from Bosie and we met up with Amber Anderson (Clement) at the Quist's. It was fun to be together again. It brought back lots of memories of the mission field. It was so fun being with President. He just kept saying, "My girls, look at my girls" and "There's those same smiles". Amber's little boys are Jared and Zachary. Colton loved being around a baby, he was so curious and kept saying "baby, baby". One time he wanted to hold the baby on his lap and I said we had to ask his mommy, and Colton replied, " You mommy" It was really cute. I sure do love these girls, they are great examples to me and treasured friends and sisters.

What's That I hear?

NOTHING, Absolutely nothing. How wonderful. Michael, Matt's twin came up today to play with Matt and they took Colton with them for a bit. They are going to lunch. They asked if I wanted to come, I said, No, I have so much work to do, which I do, and I can get it done much faster without the help of a 2 yr old. But, I've almost forgotten what silence is like. Except for the noise of my keyboard from me typing and the ceiling fan turning in the office. I can actually hear all that. Absolutely amazing. I will post pictures a little later, I have some random ones that are funny.

Funks
