Caught up

I think I'm caught up on the blog, it's been forever since I have posted anything. It's more for our yearly family history book. Plus, if I don't get around to scrapbooking, I still have a book with everything in order.

Dad's New Truck

Sorry, about the side ways picture, it's not that way until it posts to the blog. Weird. Well the time came for Dad to get a new truck, his old one had over 400,000 miles, and the a/c had quit working, so Dad traded in his newer Green truck for a brand new work truck. It's really nice. Colton loves to ride in Grandad's truck.

Matt's Birthday

Matt's Mom and Dad took him and Michael and us out to lunch for their birthdays one day. We went to Ruby River, she gave Matt some tassels for his bike, not knowing he was getting a bike from me. And some money to get some clothes for work. I took Matt to lunch for his birthday, then when mom and dad got home we had a little family party, he wanted Tacos for his dinner and then had cake and ice cream. I got Matt a bike, he has wanted one for awhile now. Colton got him some shorts and Mom and Dad got him a game. I thought I had a picture of his bike, but I will have to add one later.

The other day, all the sudden it was quite in the living room, so I went in and this is what I saw.

Dad's Room

So, when we moved out 5 months ago, Dad wanted to make the den into his room. He wants to do all the painting and "art work" himself. It is quite interesting. I took some pictures for Mike to see, here is what his room looks like- It is suppose to be a beach seen , with the yellow color as the beach, then the blue as the ocean and the greenish as the sky, the gold stipe is suppose to be a sidewalk and then there are pencil sketches of a boat and boat docks, palm trees and so forth.

Fireworks

We had some fireworks at mom and dad's for the 4th. Helena's Sister and Brother in law, brought them. They were pretty scarey at one time. The firework went off wrong and came flying back and went under dad's truck and part's of it, hit some of us.

We attempted to take family pictures at the park. I actually haven't seen them, mom has lost the cd, but here are some I took of everyone playing after the pictures.

More Cruise In Pictures

The whole family was up for the 4th of July! It was so fun having everyone together. Mike and Amy and kids stayed with Matt and I. Chris and Helena and kids stayed with mom and dad. We had so much fun!! We miss you guys!
